Education Coordinator- Cathy Simon

 Cathy has her kinesiology and education degrees and has been working in the education department at the Zoo since 1999. She first started as a camp counselor for the first 3 years and has since been the coordinator. She is responsible for the overall running of the education department including all season zoo camps, outreaches, birthday parties, all educational resources, Adopt a Friend fund-raising, and more.

    All of the Education Department staff are hard working and enthusiastic university students who have lots of experience working with kids, are bilingual, first-aid/CPR certified, and love being silly with the campers. Most of these students will go on to be teachers.
